Who we are

What we collect

Emails you send us. If you email a proposal or question, we receive your email address, name and message. We use it only to read and reply, and to consider your experiment for publication. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.

The proposal tool. The form on the contact page runs entirely in your browser. It does not transmit or store what you type; the text only leaves your device if you choose to copy or download and email it.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, build advertising profiles or run our own tracking analytics.

Retention

Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months, or longer if your experiment is published with your permission and credit.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Write to us first and we will respond within one month.
